Beginning in 1987, Comforting Care was selected by the NYC Department for the Aging to administer an in-home care program for seniors in the South Bronx. As a Department of Health licensed DBA for MBSCC, it was expanded as an outgrowth of senior services to deliver services to the homes of the elderly and home-bound adults. As a Licensed Home Care Agency Comforting Care provides services in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and Westchester County. The program provides home care services including, but not limited to, housekeeping, meal preparation, medication administration, assistance with the use of medical equipment and supplies, wound stabilization, and more.
