After School Program

MBSCC’s After School Program supports children aged 6-12 by providing a safe, enriching environment for academic and creative growth. Our program offers targeted academic support, including homework help and one-on-one tutoring for students who need extra assistance mastering specific topics.

Beyond academics, the program features a vibrant arts component led by professional artists from the Andrew Freedman Center. Children engage in a diverse curriculum that includes:

• Piano and Music Production: Developing musical skills and exploring creative expression.
• Painting and Visual Arts: Fostering creativity and artistic techniques.
• Art History Discussions: Cultivating an appreciation for art through engaging conversations.

Participants also have access to the Andrew Freedman Center’s diverse art collection, sparking their natural curiosity and encouraging deeper exploration of the arts.
